Roadmap para o Pilar IV da Estratégia do Atlântico

A Direção-Geral de Política do Mar, no âmbito das suas atribuições como coordenador nacional do Comité da Estratégia do Atlântico, promoveu esta quarta-feira uma reunião de trabalho com o novo coordenador do Pilar IV – Um Oceano saudável e zonas costeiras resilientes, Eduardo Silva, investigador do INESCTEC, para conhecer as linhas gerais do roadmap para os próximos dois anos, que será apresentado e submetido à apreciação e aprovação do Comité da Estratégia do Atlântico.


O roadmap deverá integrar ações que permitam concretizar os objetivos do Pilar IV: Zonas Costeiras mais Resilientes e Luta contra a Poluição Marinha, previstos no Plano de ação para o Atlântico 2.0 para uma economia azul sustentável, resiliente e competitiva na região atlântica da União Europeia (Communication Atlantic action plan (europa.eu)).


Este foi um encontro de trabalho muito frutífero que permitiu antecipar os desafios inerentes à implementação do roadmap e discutir a relevância de uma abordagem integrada e colaborativa, com um forte compromisso de todas as partes envolvidas.


Na reunião estiveram presentes a Diretora-Geral de Política do Mar, Marisa Lameiras da Silva, o Chefe de Divisão de Relações Internacionais e Cooperação da DGPM, Orlando Costa e a investigadora do INESCTEC, Betina Neves.
